This was really my introductory wine. My uncle is very good friends with the owner of this vineyard so we drink Caymus at every major holiday or family event. I love the complexity that this wine has: it's lux, it's berry, it stands on its own without bowling you over. The color is amazing too, very deep & rich.

shocking that is really only two bucks. had this and a much more expensive bottle of cab. the same night and the two buck chuck was hands down the favorite. It's a great wine for everyday, and not just because of the price, but because it is really smooth and doesn't compete with the food. Of course, it's my choice of cooking wine because it not only tastes good, but it keeps the cost of the recipe down.

I can't even remeber where I had it or what I had it with, but I know I liked it enough to buy it again because I wrote it down!

This was a nice wine. We had it in Nevada City, CA with appetizers. It was not sweet but was not to heady either. It had a nice grape flavor & light berry flavors & perhaps a little woodiness.

Had this wine with Italian at Tutto Mundo's in Carmel. It was so smooth, we could have guzzled it...but we didn't. It tasted of cherries & maybe a little berry & vanilla. But it was definitely not overly sweet, nor was it bitter.
