I picked this up at Whole Foods, having no idea what to expect except that the card said it was "buttery", which I like in a Chardonnay. I served it with fresh pasta and I was blown away by how much flavor it brought out of the pasta. Very creamy, but lots of fruit flavor and plenty bright. It was pleasant to drink on it's own but when paired with the pasta it was amazing.

A little too sweet for me, but would serve nicely as a dessert wine with a little white or yellow cake. As far as flavors go, it was a little citrusy, a little mango-y and perhaps a little pineaple with a nice finish, albeit sweet.

I tasted this wine at Grgich recently and I greatly preferred their whites to the reds they presented. This was a slightly sweet wine, but not too sweet to serve with dinner. Hints of lime & kiwi, very fresh.

I tasted this at the winery in Napa and fell in love with it's smoothness. My first Cab. Franc, so I don't quite know what to compare it too. There seemed to be only subtle acidity and such a light finish that I think it would pair well with just about any protein.

The guy at the wine shop insisted this was a cult favorite, but you know how that goes, you never know what to believe. Well he was right! I was so shocked at how smooth this was, it was like butter. For a white I was surprised that it was not overpoweringly sweet and had so many different flavors from oak to citrus to olive to grape. We could have gone through several bottles easy that night with parmesean chicken & pasta alfredo.

The flavor is so-so to me. I like the fruity notes of pear or apple but there is a lingering bitterness that I don't approve. That said, they are they cutest little containers and are perfect for baby or wedding showers, which is what we used them for. I have couple left, I think I will try making a coctail out of them, adding a little framboise or something.
