Torbreck Semillon 2006
Added Jun 5, 2009 at 1:42pmReally good aromas. Excellent balance between acidity and semillon's richness.

Added Dec 12, 2008 at 6:31pmTasted vintage 2001 (in Summer 2008). One of the best Italian Gewurtztraminers. Very well structured. Luscious palate; dense and long. Still has a little bit of acidity that makes it very drinkable. Age at least six years.

Added Dec 12, 2008 at 6:26pmFantastic white like none in the world (if not from the same area). Almost too rich to classify as 'white'. Extremely well structured, so dense it's cloudy. Make sure to enjoy it at a higher temperature than normal whites, otherwise it will not show its potential. A unique experience.

Added Dec 12, 2008 at 6:21pmGreat bang for the back as far as Tempranillo goes. Wonderful nose, balanced acidity, long finish. Very forward but in a good way. Terroir AND crowd-pleasing potential.

Added Dec 12, 2008 at 6:19pmNice blend. A little too 'international' for my taste but definitely a crowd pleaser. No terroir here but a good wine though it lacks some acidity. Ready to drink.

Added Dec 12, 2008 at 6:16pmWonderful Sangiovese + international grapes blend from Querciabella. Big and bold, with nice acidity. Still young but already drinkable. I would recommend aging for at least two years. I would recommend it with game and red meats in general.

Added Dec 12, 2008 at 6:09pmGood New World Riesling. Nice acidity. Well structured but easy on the palate. Short finish. Not impressive for complexity, but a good bang for the buck.
