A solid value wine.... 3 stars, but for $6 at the BEVMO sale, I'd definitely give it a 4 given the QPR. Good complexity given the price... Think of the earthiness and acidity of a Spanish Jumilla intermixed with the big ripe red and blue fruits from Washington State. The only thing lacking here is the finish, which is a little thin and not too memorable. A solid 3-1/2 stars.

Very well balanced, full of mineral + spice with a nice balance of fruit. Still somewhat astringent, but overall lovely wine.

The wine was very fruit-forward, perhaps overly jammy for a sangiovese blend wine. Some hints of rich plum, but otherwise falls flat and somewhat unapproachable.
