This stuff is foul. It looks pretty enough in the bottle, and that is the only place it has any business being. It tastes sort of like cranberry vitamin water or watered down nyquil, but with a spectacularly chemical sweet cut to it and a mouthfeel that's like watery syrup. The finish is my favorite part, as it reminds me what a bad idea that was.Though I prefer drier wines, this is not wine. It is a fermented grape beverage packaged and sold to people who drink wine because it contains alcohol and it seems classier when it's in a bottle. I had a friend bring (and leave) a bottle when I had some people over for dinner. There was about half a bottle left (with students present), and after some thought it was turned into sangria. When half a liter of soda water, fruit, lemon juice, and sugar can't make a wine drinkable that is impressive. Managing to sell it year after year is almost laudable. Almost.

Strong berry flavors, fairly good body, and enough of a finish to prevent dissappointment. I'd say about a 85, but the pricing probably inflates that a bit. It's extremelly hard not to recommend, especially since it's not too hard to find for $6-8 on sales fairly regularly.
