    As Malbecs go, it was fair. A drinkable wine, and not bad with lamb. This was actually a mistake by the restaurant (I had ordered the OTHER 2006 Malbec). The waiter and I were both distracted with the label damage and before I realized it was the wrong wine, it was open. My fault as I was on autopilot at the time.About the wine, lots of tannin. Can definitely differentiate this wine from Argentine wines. Dark ruby color with some oak, cherry.I would drink it again if it were free but I can get a nice Argentine Malbec which is more enjoyable for less.
