Such a value. This Anniversary release is 2015 Ste. Michelle Vineyards Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from Paterson, Washington rates honorable mention in this review. Lush black and red berries permeate the taste buds. Soft well balanced depth with mellow tannins and a mouth feel of rich lasting whole notes. Like a musical sonata. A nice deep flavor that splashes the bottom of the well.

This is a mellow old vine zinfandel having nice cherry and berry flavors with a touch of cranberry undertones. Tannins and balance is wonderful. Deep lasting dusty characteristics and rounded spices.

Precept Wine in Seattle created this blend of Syrah (60%) and Merlot using fruit from breathtaking Wallula Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills and Willard in the Yakima Valley. A light hand with oak allows for a nose of black cherry, red currant and cola with whiffs of anise and tar. There’s pleasing balance to its lighter structure that’s focused on Montmorency cherry and blueberry, leading to a finish of plum skin tannins and tangy acidity. These food-friendly wines, built and priced for everyday enjoyment, are available exclusively at Whole Foods Market stores in the Pacific Northwest.

Oh baby, at this price buy two or more bottles because if you like Viognier, this one is very nice. Under $10 is mighty fine. Once you sip this you'll love the mineral coating inside your trap. Shades of melon, tropical fruits like papaya, mango, pear and a touch on non obtrusive lemon. Deep in the throat, the minerality waits to be splashed again and again with these tropical flavors. Honey notes, beautiful notes they are Yes, the color is absolutely beautiful, like the gold of a King. Invite me over when you twist the cap and remember who recommended it to you

Nice feel in the mouth. Inky dark color. Taste blackberry dry with pronounced tannins. Would go well with beef.

Most websites say this is a $25 bottle of Cab. I purchase it every day of the week for under $20. It stands up to the Big Cabs of Napa. It is made from Napa Valley grapes in Napa Valley and it has flavors of black cherry, plum, cedar and is aged in small oak barrels for 30 months. . It pairs well with any beef dish either grilled or pot roast with dark gravy. It's being lingers well. I'm a fan. I've even visited the vineyard and they along with their wines are lovely

I love the Layer Cake Malbec, it's absolutely divine. When I saw the Cabernet Sauvignon, I thought I was on to something big. Well, not so, although it's all they say it is as far as tasting notes it leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to depth. It's not bad say with a salami sandwich but I prefer a more robust cab with some structure. Disappointed to say the least.
