Added Jan 26, 2009 at 3:38pmThe 2007 Hosmer Pinot Gris features ripe peach, melon and mineral aromas that give way to a rich, fruit laden palate and lingering finish. This varietal wine has no oak aging and is an excellent alternative to Chardonnay. Pinot Gris is sometimes known as Pinot Grigio.

Added Jan 26, 2009 at 3:36pmCabernet Franc has traditionally been blended with other red Bordeaux varieties, including its relative Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2006 Cabernet Franc is a prime example of the fruity nature of all the 2006 vinifera reds. A sweet plummy core of weight wrapped with raspberry and bramble berries around a smooth yet gripping finish and supple tannins.

Added Jan 26, 2009 at 3:33pmThe 2007 Riesling, with all its decency to uphold the abilities of Riesling in the Finger lakes, does so in a fashion only to resemble that of a great statesman. Full of vim and vigor, it holds a magnificent abundance of peach and honeyed lemon up front to bring about a wonderful level of acidity to keep the sweet in check with lime and Anjou and Bosc pear flavors.
