hoopdriver's Review:

Virtually opaque in the glass with deep ruby highlights. Small amounts of sediment. Notes of cassis, lavender and lime on the nose. Distinctive, elegant tannins occupy the high ground in a blend low in acid or sugar. Medium-bodied, with a dry herbal backbone and ash. Long finish settles forward on the tongue with mild tobacco, underripe blueberry. Not for the sweet-toothed. Complements pear, creamy chevre, game, parsley and mustard.
