LOVE this wine. It was surprisingly good. I had dinner with a group and we wanted to get a bottle there that cost about $40. This one was $38 by the bottle with dinner. It was amazingly good. The nose was perfect with a cherry undertone (to me, at least). It was smooth and rich as you would expect from a cabernet, but not too dry. Everyone enjoyed it.

I love this wine. #1 for a bargin pinot noir is is really good. It is very fruity and easy to drink. It is sweet and goes well with a casual dinner, pizza even. :) I recommend it for anyone looking for a good wine at a bargin price.

This wine was a bit too sweet for my taste, but I like that it is light and easy to drink. I would have this for my friends that are 'not really into wine'. :) Someone who prefers a more flavorful and/or dry wine may not care much for this one, but I think the Fonte does create an even playing field for all and would be nice to have as your white wine at a dinner party to appeal to most tastes.

Well, I was all ready to have a glass of wine after a long day and poured a glass of this. Eager to get some wine in my body STAT, I took a taste immediately. The first I thought was that this wine really does need to breath. At first, it leaves a bitter after taste and is not very easy to drink. I do notice the aftertaste turns fruity as I drink more of the wine. At first I thought it had a decent nose, at least. But as I struggle to finish the glass, I realise that the nose is just as rough as the taste. But as the glass sits and I sip, it does get better. I will try this one out again tomorrow, now that the bottle has been opened. But, first impression makes me not want to buy this one again. Decent price though. Maybe I will try to pair it with a meal to see how it does.

The taste of the wine actually impressed me, because initially I wasn't expecting much. There was quite a bit of sediment even in my first glass. I saw a lot of it on the mouth of the bottle, which I did try to clean before pouring. But, I still ended up with it in my glass. I don't even like that when you end up with it in the last bit, but the first glass?? Anyway, the wine itself is balanced and medium bodied. One glass was very satisfying and I really did not feel the need for more. I had it with a meal of pasta and tangy sauce - a great paring. I would have given this one a four, but 3.5 because of my first impression.

This is the first Beaujolais Nouveau I've tried this year and it was pretty good. I have never really been excited about this wine, but I always make a point of having 1 or 2 tastes each year. It was pretty in color, as always and the nose was wonderfully fruity. I think that is the best thing about Beaujolais Nouveau. The sensory experience is very pleasant. I give this one a 3. I like it, but it did not stand out in any spectacular way.

I am really enjoying this wine. I saw this wine in the Wines from Spain Far From Ordinary Wine Guide. It says that this one is a blend of 40% Monatrell, 25% Tempranillo (which I love), 20% Cabernet Saivignon (my love), and 15% Petit Verdot. The tasting notes are right on point with my experience, as well. At first taste this wine is quite dry. But it has a nice finish. It went well with a very very rich chocolate truffle I had with it. I would love to try this one out with a nice meal.
