    hershey's Review:

This was a fascinating Syrah for me, as over the typical syrah red berries & spice, I got the distinct sensation of pot roast. I could smell the slightly burnt drippings in the pan, with roasted carrots and even onions (they were delicious pot roast onions, don't worry). Pair with pot roast, I guess!

Lovely pale raspberry color, this wine took me back into the forest that I had been hiking that morning. There was leaves, freshly wet from the morning rain, pine, moss, notes over cherry fruits with grapefruit rind like acid. Still a baby, this wine should be very interesting in a few years.

Creamy pineapple and guava with a full mouthfeel, clean acid that cleanses the palate on the finish.

    hershey's Review:

Bright red fruit from this intense dense pinot. Less earth and stones than other bottlings.

    hershey's Review:

Good minerality and earth supporting great dark red fruit. Stones and Almost cedar notes balance this wine. Very intense pinot

Still a little young, and benefited enormously from a day's worth of breathing, but a very well made Merlot-Syrah blend. Initially the tannins and oak dominated, but coffee, tobaccco, and blackberries came through as well. Once the wine breathed, the cherry jams of the Syrah developed, as well as smoothed out the tannins. Medium to full bodied, this is a try again.

Still bright and fresh, with lots of nice fruit and hints of funk on the edge.

    hershey's Review:

Rasberry spritzer comes to mind, with dry raspberry juice and good seltzer. Not much complexity or layers of flavor, but a decent straight-forward cava with good bubble structure, balanced acidity and good berry fruits that is not cloying. Not a steal, but not bad.
