Added Jan 16, 2009 at 3:11pmI think I´ll my nose in the glass for the next hour, basking in this incredible scent!!!! After two mediocre wines, this smells like heaven: orchids, honey, white peach, perfume and cherry blossoms. If they could bottle this and sell it as perfume, I'd be their most loyal customer! In the mouth, it's almost better than the nose. Full, unctuous, sensual, elegant and bursting with honeycomb, peach nectar and lychee, finishing in a ridiculously long vibrant mineral and vanilla finish. Sigh, I'll take another glass!

Added Jan 16, 2009 at 2:58pmDark, inky red in color with a gorgeous nose of raisins, dried cranberries, plum and molasses. Reminds me of a Pedro Ximenez, or even an LBV port. Unfortunately, the rich and vibrant nose doesn´t match the palate, where the flavors evaporate rather quickly leaving a thin film of raisins, dried cherry and coffee. To be frank, the light, flabby body kills this wine for me.

Added Jan 16, 2009 at 2:33pmMedium dark yellow in color showing a bold and perfumey bouquet of white flowers, fleshy peach and almond cream, reminiscent of turrón. In the mouth, the wine shows a lighter body than I would have anticipated, with light acidity and a medium short, slightly hot finish, of pear and almond paste.

The wine was so reserved that I was searching to pick out a single note, but as the temperature rose, subtle peach, honey, white floral and cream notes surfaced. In the mouth, the wine shows a creamy texture along the entire palate, but comes alive as if I poured pop rocks directly on my tongue, with and ending in a medium long finish with mature apricot, peach and cantaloupe flavors. Again, this winery has thoroughly impressed me with another fantastic wine!

Added Nov 20, 2008 at 2:47pmFirst words that come to mind with this wine: crisp, fresh, alive, zesty and fun. Simple citrus, mineral and raw almond notes on the nose with a touch of fresh herbs hovering over the glass. In the mouth, the wine is ....oh yes...Zesty! Fabulous mineral flavors highlighted by this racy acidity and a light body that ends in tingly long citrus finish. I see sushi or Thai food in this wine's future. If only I could take a bottle to India with me this weekend.

Added Nov 20, 2008 at 2:38pmThis wine shows a great funky nose, filled with earthy notes of fresh mushrooms and banana layered with a light floral scent. In the mouth, the wine shows soft, delicate acidity that only peaks right near the end of the sip right near the back corners of my palate. If you have a lemon drop candy, that exact same sour indicator in the mouth is where the acidity strikes. Yet despite that eye opening spark of freshness, the medium body and buttery smooth finish balance this wine beautifully, leaving me in a haze of lemon, lime and floral flavors. This is a beautiful wine!

Added Aug 24, 2008 at 9:48amWOW! If simplicity were required for a wine, this would fail miserably, as this wine embodies complexity and layers. Dark spices, clove, boysenberry, dark cherry, slate and red meat on the nose, laced in a beautiful rich chocolate veil. Despite the slightly off-kilter oak that is somewhat jarring, the wine shows bright, balanced acidity, alongside silky fine tannins that give rise to a ridiculously expressive plum and dark raspberry finish. Overall, this is a sexy and sensuous wine!
