Added Aug 1, 2009 at 1:44pmThe palate is smooth, velvety and full of ripe fruit; blackcurrant colour, woody nose followed by spicy fruit. Balanced oak and tannins. Mouth-feel is very smooth with soft but juicy fruits with sufficient acidity to accompany food well.

Added May 2, 2009 at 12:46pmStrawberry colour, lovely initial fruits lighten. Redcurrant and strawberry on the nose; soft wood on the palette. The chemical scent detected by other drinkers is actually charcoal - brash to begin with, but softens with air.
