    fibo86's Review:

Upon the pour the slight woft of blackberries and clove then an unfortunate stink of wet rusty metal (so a bit of time to air in the glass just in case....) Colour/ClarityCherry with crimson hue, dull.BouquetLightens out to white pepper, tabbaco, clove and quite earthy not really able to smell much fruit.FlavourDried prune, leathery, acidic and earthyNot too sure about this one........ don't really like it. No balance, doesn't seem to have much structure with a rather long acidic end, or may be it's just all too new as I'm used to Australian wines. Not for me though.

Granache, unfiltered and no oak 14.5%Purple/crimson hueAmazing aroma almost like a powdery parfum with berries and boiled lollies, spice, liquorice, a touch of mint.Small tannin presents, spicey yet light good lenght with a an obvious ability to gain some age.also an organic venture. If they keep producing wine like this then I can see great things from the 20yo vinyard.

Ok, Kedem-premium-Cream red Concord. A.B.V 9%Royal Wine Corp, Bayonne, NJ-USAColour/ ClarityBrown,Brick hue/ OpaqueAromaalmost a sherry like aromor, musty, stewed berry, stewed prune, fruity, cordial, delicate mushroom and slight wet wool (mild smell of grannies hair spray) (although smelt this wine warm and could smell nothing but wet horse blanket, great deal of difference)FlavorLots of residual sugar, quite fruity- ruhbarb, raspberry, blackberry, prune, chocolate (some earthy flavor that I can't quite grasp),raisin, Cream Sherry type finish quite long and slight delicate aniseed at the tail end.In conclusion this is a wine for the sweet tooth, I now can understand why it was used in cold duck, it would have made an interesting addition to a sparkling red instead of a traditional dosage.

Bursting out of the bottle before the top's off,Colour/ Clarity:Dark Crimson-Brick hue/ Bright,Bouquet:Strong pepper, eucalytus and honey lollies (mild), stewed plums, forest floor, violets, cinnamon and vanilla,Flavour:This wine wasn't the beast the bouquet made it out to be.Great spice and berries, with a bit of an earthy characteristic....Typical Hunter wine.Well intergrated tanins and quite juicy. With food or withoutI really liked this wine and thought it would be a great wine to have with a steak or a meaty/mushroom winter casserole, even juicy enough to have on it's own.Now wish I had a second bottle to try next year

    fibo86's Review:

This is one of the lightest wines I've tasted to date, would be perfect for the summer afternoon sit on the pattio with a fruit plater and watch the world go by.On the nose- berries melon and apricotThe palate- very delicate, strawberries, raspberry a bit of residual sugar, not a great deal of length but fairly well balanced.Even to the point of quite morish. Although as a rose goes it's the most delicate I have come across yet.
