This crisp off-dry medium bodied California Riesling is terrific as an aperitif, cocktail wine, with fruit, cheeses, spicy dishes, light seafood or shellfish dishes. I would buy it again. I like it! AROMAS: lemon-lime, fresh citrus leaves, green apple, golden apple, honeysuckle, mandarin oranges in syrup. FLAVORS: confirms the aromas and add grapefruit, grapefruit zest and honey and light mineral tones on the finish. STRUCTURE: off-dry, crisp acidity, medium body, 13% alcohol, long flavorful finish. 79% White Riesling, 19% Gewurztraminer, 2% Orange Muscat.

enjoyfinewines' Review:

An excellent California Riesling that is German Style because of it's acid, fruit, low alcohol and residual sugar (8%). It's also a wonderful cocktail wine but I wouldn't consider it strictly for dessert. It will pair well many foods like Asian cuisine, spicy foods, green salads, fruit salads, fruit tarts, fruit compote, cheesecake. AROMAS: fresh lychee in syrup, pears in syrup, fruit cocktail, honey, lemon curd, lemon/lime soda, white floral like freesia or gardenia. FLAVORS: confirms the aromas. STRUCTURE: medium sweet (not dessert sweet), mouthwatering acid, low alcohol, long finish. The winery calls this a late harvest wine.
