On first impression hot, raspberries & blackberries, some chocolate, and hints of butterscotch on the nose. This is very smooth in the mouth, rich, with black fruit and black tea flavors. Very smooth finish.

Up front light honeysuckle notes followed by herbal and slight butterscotch underneath leads to initial light spritz in the mouth lots of sweet apple, more butterscotch and grassy layers that linger on the finish.

2008 vintage - Perfumed floral notes over grass leads to light spritz, sweet, oily (full) with intense peach & apple flavors that linger in the finish.

For the 2007 vintage: Candy fruit nose leads to sweet well-balanced flavors in the mouth, with Raspberries and spice finishing with Black Tea tannins.

Tarry Cassis aromas over pear/pine notes. Concentrated sweet black tea fruits balanced by racy acidity, spice finished by lots of wood.
