NIce midweek wine that is light and fruity, yet has a bit of character. Enjoyed with light appy's with friends, all liked it! Great QPR.

Not exciting, but i guess good value for money. Curiously NV and bottle lacks any information. Folks around the table enjoyed this for what it is. Nose starts off as bubble gum, then gets a little more cherry like. Light cherry notes on palate with some gritty tannins, but light and better with food. Short finish. Give it a go, and keeping price in mind, you will likely find this enjoyable with a week night meal!

This is "cheap" and you pay for what you get! Light dark berry fruit, short finish. The Merlot was more interesting.

Dark gold yellow in glass - looking a tad seductive...sweet tart green apples on nose, and this carries into palate, but a creamy quality, some very balanced level of sweatness and acid. I had this solo and with some food which paired well with (mix of roast vegies/fish/mushrooms with blue cheese - experimenting with culinary skills last night also) I really liked this, seems to be from a not to popular place in Loire Valley, which i like also. Doubt most people will find this one. (Manitoba, CAN)

Medium bodied, bigger wine. A lot of heat out of the bottle. After it sat for 10 mins, some dark berry and oak on nose. Palate - very short cherry juice for the first second, then some oak on background with nice balance, medium to lingering vanilla/oak finish. Light acid and no significant tannins...good with food and almost has that delicious quality - close but not quite. I would suggest "decant" for a good 30 mins first.

This is a fairly delicious wine for my palate. This is a new producer in my wine store - italian family using old italian grape in Argentina! Nice dark fruit with background oak on nose. The palate is, for me, a very balanced and refreshing mix of acid/tanin/fruit and distant vanilla and oak. Medium bodied and finish that transistions to a lighter fruit/jammy note. It has a jam like quality without being to fruity...I really enjoyed this, and reminded me that cutting the full fruit forward quality with the right mix of tannin/acid/oak can elevate things to a different level...I let this sit in big glass for 30 mins. Nice solo and match with a variety of food.
