May 2008
Tasted in Oct. 2007, this wine had picked up some cheese aromas and other secondary scents, but remained lively and bright. Some fine acidity offered a backbone to the rounded palate, with citrus and other white fruity flavors. A beautiful wine with cheese and other subtleties.

This wine drinks like a port, with 17% alcohol. Not an ager, it still has plenty of fruit to last another few years, but others said it had already tapered off from earlier intensity. Not quite pruney, it was loaded with cassis and other red fruits.

Tasted in May 2008, this wine is a FRUIT-BOMB, with LOADS of cassis and dark plum flavor overridding everything but the alcohol. Smooth, nearly viscous, I found it a touch cooked on the finish.

Tasted in May 2008 (in Buenos Aires), this wine is elegant, with finely-tuned tannins, beautiful fruit and even some secondary flavors, as well as a good amount of spice and vanilla influence from oak. Balanced alcohol and a touch of acidity imply this wine will last for quite a while.

Lush and full-bodied, this has a hint of spice and barnyard to its purple Syrah fruit.

Tasted May 2008, this wine was showing beautifully. Soft, finely integrated tannins offered exceptional structure to this silky, med-full bodied wine. Flavors of currant and cherry fruit were still powerful, with secondary aromas yet to develop. Bright red, with a structured and lasting finish.

April 2008
A bit heavy (drunk April 2008), but still plenty of dark color and fruity flavors. More of a fruity wine than comlex.

November 2007
Tasted alongside Argentine Malbec, this wine showed the finesse and grace that French wines have built their reputation on. Fine red berry flavors, soft yet supportive tannins, and nicely balance, with a touch of forest floor.

A nicely structured wine with great berry and forest floor flavors. Showing very well in 11/07, with plenty of fruit left for a few more years.
