Decanted. Brick colored. Complex aromas of leather, flowers, and violets. Leather, flowers, allspice, and plum flavors. Long and surprising finish. This is a wine that could stand up to any Bordeaux in terms of flavor and elegance. Spent 4 years in oak, and 22 in bottle. Superb.

Fantastic, fresh wine with a nice balance between the fresh citrus, cilantro, and grass elements.

Crisp, dry sparkler with small/medium bead, a pale strawberry color, and lots of berries and biscuit in the palate. Great QPR.

Rich, slightly confected cherry-berry aromas with a slight green pepper undertow. Plum and cherry flavors with herbal notes. Cedar and allspice in the midpalate with a chalky finish. Nicely made.

Don't like this as much as the Sonoma Coast. Black cherry and raspberry aromas and flavors. Not in balance, a touch of alcoholic heat, and no bright fruit at the core to liven things up. Lacks essential acidity, but will appeal to people who like their Pinots to taste like a big Syrah.

Very, very good pinot noir for the price. High toned cherry and raspberry fruit aromas, with a touch of all spice. Silky texture in the midpalate and finish. Flavors of cherry, raspberry, allspice, and cobbler. If you can pay under $20 for this, it's a steal.

Love, love, love Suzanne's Pinots. Elegant expression of cool climate Pinot, with aromas of eucalyptus, raspberry, limestone. Flavors are raspberry, cherry, chalk, and allspice. Clove and allspice inflected finish. Will hold the other bottle for a few more years to see how it develops. Biodynamic. Day 3 Update: drinking much more lush and velvety after several days on the counter with the original cork back in the bottle. Needs time. Best 2010-2012.
