Keeping with my gas-station-wine crusade/trend (hey, times are lean, yall!) I figured I'd take a chance on this lil Pinot Noir. I'm glad I did because this is now among my favorites of the elegant and sophisticated lot found at my Major Brand Gas in Austin. In a word...ok, two: Dark Berry.

Yeah, pretty good stuff here. You'll find a port and plum nose; ripe berry.

I have to agree with fellow Snoother Tabednar's review. This is a decent house red that's affordable to boot.

Let me sum it up this way -- I've had better "2 buck chuck". It's possible that part of the problem was not reading Daveferrick's review before sampling, and therefore not knowing that I would do better to aerate this leathery red for at least an hour. Be forewarned, if you do not decant the consequence is tannin overload.
