dillonius' Review:

I tasted this wonderful wine at the Panther Creek Cellars tasting room in McMinnville, OR. I strongly recommend those of you near or visiting Oregon to visit this site during crush. The tasting room and winery are really one and the same and it is fascinating to see everything in action. That said, I got beautiful notes of piespice, vanilla, milk chocolate, and black raspberry on the nose from this wine, followed by cherry, chocolate, and hazelnut on the palate. It is drinking wonderfully now.

Delightful burnt toast greets your nose straightaway with this wine, followed by honey and very ripe berry fruits. A taste brings on chocolate and vanilla with a little bright acidity and tannin for backbone. In the darkish tasting room this wine had a pale garnet color.

Lightly mineral, but creamy on nose with light pear and citrus overtones on the palette against the perfect amount of toasty oak. The finish of lime and graham cracker goes on for days. Lovely wine.

Vanilla, toasted nuts and ripe blackberry on nose. Cozy, fuzzy mouthfeel with plenty of ripe strawberry and blackberry on palate. Beautifully round tannins and a lengthy finish. A beautiful wine.
