This was a wonderful wine but not as complex as I expected. Seemed much lighter in feel than what you would have expected. Earthy with a wonderful nose - long finish - but light in texture.

Loved the past vintages and this does not disappoint - I want to wait another couple of months for the true test but here is my initial reaction - I tasted first and then let it sit in the fridge for 1 hour - that was the ticket - more pepper and spice than 2005 - I get lots of choc covered cherries, blueberries and mocha - smooth finish with a hint of choc candy - will be great 6 months from now!

I am really enjoying this wine - lighter in color than you would think for a cab - rich fruit without being over powering - seems a bit light in flavor though for a really good cab but we paid $45 for it and that makes it worth it - $80 would be a bit much since I expect a little deeper richer wine for the $80 price - excellent finish and feels great in the mouth with no acidity

Wonderful 2005 Spring Mountain District Wine - balanced - fruity cab with all the Calif cabs offer, may be even better - it had an excellent finish - did not want it to end - wish I had purchased more to put away -

Funny story about this wine - purchased it from The Wine Library based on Gary V's recommendation and then by chance friends showed up on Brunello night having purchased the same wine from the same place!! It was worth it! This is Brunello almost the way it should be - I usually prefer 2001 vintages but this is darn close - a little more time and this will be excellent -

Very good for a 2003 - thought it would need more time to even be close to good but this did not disappoint - typical Brunello - wonderful fruit - long smooth finish - really liked this - cannot wait to try it in a few years!!

Very interesting Super Tuscan - light yet very Italian - love the nose - the middle palette is wonderful - the finish I like a lot - this is a good wine - I have paid $45 in Restaurants and $29 in wine shoppes but recently found it for $19!! Great value for certain at that price!! I have had a couple of bottles since January and the longer they sit the better they are - must decant - I suggest 12 hours - decant in the AM and drink upon arriving home - I think it needs a bit of cooling as well - we like our red wines 60-65 degrees. I like this wine - good everyday wine and also great for serving to company who don't know alot about wine - I think anyone would appreciate this flavor!

Excellent cab for the price - drinks like a higher end wine - firm tannins - lots of berries - vanilla - smooth finish - great value!

The nose was scary - pepper pepper and more pepper - I prepared myself for a heavy wine with lots of alcohol. What I got was alot of alcohol but smooth as silk and fabulous - the way the nose opens is way to over powering but the taste is incredible - I love love love this wine - under $20 is amazing - more than worth buying and trying - excellent - I have another bottle and 2 2005's - cannot wait to have my wine friends try them - will again report!!
