I loved this wine. My notes are unclear as to where I purchased this wine but I suspect I received it as a wine of the month club selection from Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa. This wine is a very dark purple with aromas of dark berries, baking spice, bittersweet chocolate and violets. Rich black/blueberry, baking spice, licorice, cinnamon flavors with a touch of oak. It is a big, concentrated, and complex. Firm tannins and a long spicy finish make this wine a little wild and exciting. I wish I had bought another bottle to keep in the cellar over the next couple of years

Nice golden color. Citrus blossoms, honey, flint, and stone fruit on the nose with a crisp palate of peach, grapefruit, and mineral overlaid with the essence (but not the sweetness) of honey. This is a very dry, medium bodied wine that finishes long and rather silky. Delicious.

A lovely Pinot done in the old style. Aromas of dark berries, cooking spice and toast with flavors of raspberry, spice, a delicate earthiness and oak. Elegantly balanced with a long silky finish.

This raised the bar for Cab Franc. A small production wine (only 95 cases made), it is 100% Cab Franc sourced from two Columbia Valley Vineyards: Conner Lee and Chandler Reach. It has succulent dark fruit and violets on the nose, with heady blackberry, plum and a hint of spice on the palate. With its pitch perfect balance, luscious mouth feel, and silky long finish, it is very drinkable and yet complex.

This is a big, slam-you-against-the-wall, Petite Sirah. Big, jammy blackberry flavors with luscious vanilla, and slight white peppery finish that lasts a long time. Wonderful!

Dark fruit, pepper, clove, oak and smoke on the nose with robust blackberry, dark cherry, vanilla cream, black pepper and a hint of mint on the palate. The finish is sweetish and long. This needs to breath and was best after an hour or so in the decanter. This wine is well put together and is best with food but sipped well.

Dark cherries, tobacco, violets, and chalk on the nose. Bright Cherries, raspberries, leather, and something deliciously spicy on the palate. Rich with engaging tannins and acidity with a lingering spicy finish.

Cheerful aromas of banana, pear, and melon, melded into bright, clean tropical flavors with floral and citrus undertones, ending in a lingering finish. It was a stellar match with a light but slightly spicy Jamaican Chicken with Beans and Rice
