This is classic Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir. Dark fruit, long dynamic after taste that lingers with minerality.

The 2007 Amber Ridge vineyard designate from Furthermore Wines is an elegant fruit forward Pinot Noir with cherry fruit and bright acidity.

I wasn't in love with this bottle - not perfectly balanced / integrated. I like the fruit but wasn't in love with what was done with it.

Really nice fruit - gorgeous nose. Needed some time to open. I have one more bottle and will try to wait 1-2 years before drinking. Looking forward to see what Bliss Block did in 2007.

Consistent with last time. Still drinking very well in its light fruit with intriguing zin notes on top way. Nice food wine with decent balanced acidity and nuances to keep you guessing. An aged zin meets a pinot is still my take on this one.

A distinctive and well structured pinot. "Sineann-esque", but not his best. Paired with a cedar plank smoked salmon with a rub- seemed like a good match but in the end they competed a bit.

Nice mellow spice a bit of pepper zin, paired well with a chicken mole from fine foods at home sf.
