I love wine and playing classical guitar. I drink mostly red wine and enjoy exploring different grapes - so far have had some great experiences with aglianico, petit verdot, graciano and a few others. Looking forward to many more.

After 2 hour decant: slightly more than medium body, smooth, jammy blackberry, strawberry, hint of chocolate and cigar box, subdued but well balanced acid and tannins. Very nice for the price!

On the tongue, this was initially like squeezing the juice of a fresh fruit (plum, blackberry) on the tongue, followed by an acidic tartness on the edges, giving way to a sort of peppery meatiness; with a nice long peppery finish. Though only 4%, the grenache is noticeable as s sort of subtle mintiness. Medium bodied, moderately complex, long finish, refreshing.

The thing that stood out the most with this wine was the smoothness. Medium-heavy bodied, mostly just grapey flavored, very subtle smokiness and licorice.
