Added Apr 27, 2011 at 3:52pmHad this with some easter lamb at a party. Enjoyed it very much, and it certainly beat the other wines at the table. However I was surprised to find out that it was valued at $70. It was good, but it wasn't that outstanding a Bordeaux to me. Bottle variation maybe?

Added Mar 19, 2011 at 8:03pm750ml bottle from KLWines. Decantered for 5 min, then into the glass. The wine was wonderfully musty. In my inexperience the only thing I can say it reminded me of was a well prepared grilled Portobello mushroom. It peaked in 12 min or so, at which point it was very smooth, but it started to break down and became a bit harsh by 15 min, at which point i hurried up with my last few sips.

Added Dec 28, 2010 at 11:40pmMy first unfavorable review on snooth . . . this wine is jammy, but to the point that it is syrupy, and it has a harsh aftertaste where my mouth feels dried out. Tasted a bit like concentrated Charles Shaw. Drank it on its own.

Added Dec 27, 2010 at 3:09amEarthy notes. Very good for a $10 table wine. Went well on its own as well as with a Bolognaise.

Added Dec 27, 2010 at 3:06amVery bold, but very smooth. Goes well with red meat, but I've enjoyed plenty a glass on its own too. It also paired excellently with some chocolate-peanut-butter ice cream :)

Added Dec 27, 2010 at 3:00amTried this with some slightly spicy mini-samosas. First sniff was cinnamony. It was bold, but very smooth. I really enjoyed this one.

Added Sep 3, 2010 at 7:27pmHaven't tried it yet, but Spencer & Daniels in San Francisco has a batch that was damaged in a shipping accident and is selling it for $4/bottle. The label is destroyed but allegedly the wine is still good
