Pale gold, medium intensity, steely and apply bouquet, palette almost dry but with lots of honey flavours, together with green apple, lime, and a touch of pink grapefruit. High acidity, medium bodied with a luscious mouth feel. Beautifully balanced. Long finish. Very good.

I bought this for 23 in Wholefoods in London - not sure where the 200.51 came. At that it really would be wildly overpriced. Citrus nose, intense lemon/lime with a steely component and a note of peach. On the palate, dry with a massive hit of peach. Good acidity. Surprisingly ungrapey for a muscat. Very drinkable, but fron this I didn't get why Sorg is supposed to be such a Wunderkind.

Pears and honey on the nose. Sweet, with honey and a lovely apple/pear skin acidity on palate. Medium acidity, and medium to full body. Good length. Very good, and would be an excellent substitute for a much more expensive Vouvray.

On the nose, smoke, and then a slightly unpleasant perished rubber note. On the palate, redcurrant, strawberry, smoke, low tannins, medium plus acidity. Not great, but I'm not a big fan of gamay.

Clear pale lemon. Classy oak nose, medium intensity. You can almost smell the tightness of the grain in that French oak, along with a bit of lemon, and some toast. On the palate, oak, butter, lemon. Medium acidity. Long, long finish - you pick up the glass out of habit and realise you can still taste it. Bags of class. Outstanding, and at this price, terrific value.
