No, no, no, no, no, no. What a monotone wine, all fruit and no real structure. Made for parker, I'm sure. Another classic example of wines manufactured for the american market instead of a real winemaker expressing something unique about himself, his vineyard, and his style. stay away..

Consistently an amazing wine. this one is a little young, but based on the track record of the wine, I am sure will show its stuff in a few years.

Bought this through WineLibrary's Cinderella wine at $25/bottle. Great for that price, cannot see paying what the current retail price is. Lacking structure or finesse typical of this style of wine. Very flat, no prominent secondary or tertiary notes, fruit is almost gone, acidity is gone. Drink now (2011), it will be dead soon.

Not my cup of tea, too light and not much real character.

Something was seriously wrong with the wine - on the nose you get rotten eggs, a clear indication of over-sulfited wine. On the palate not much better, and would never buy this again.

Holy cow what a wine! To be expected from a winery that also released a 40 year old library red. This white sees 6 months in barrel (probably newer french) and has the hallmarks of a classic Burgundian chardonnay at a fraction of the price. Classic lanolin, wet wool, with bright lemon, white peach, and lychee notes. Finish goes on and on like there is no end.

Amazing wine - for something that is over 40 years old to taste so fresh and spot on. Perfect berry notes with sublime leather and minimal wood effects. Not like a typical old school Rioja with tons of oak aging, this tastes incredible. Worth it if you can find it.
