This $50 Armagnac is a very pleasant sipper with many delicious and somewhat exotic flavors but it is rather soft and light bodied on the palate.

11/7/12. 2007 vintage, The nose, although soft, had a nice left bank Bordeaux allure to it. The taste is unbalanced to the oak but some fruit is noticeable. There is a touch of mint in the medium body, and not very much tannin for so much oak. The whole experience was silky smooth with no alcohol distraction. A good buy for the price.

2008 vintage, pushing full bodied, dark red with plenty of flavor and a touch of menthol and oak. 5 years old and still needs to cellar. A bit sweet.

Disappointing compared to the 2005 I had 3 years ago. Sweeter, less tannic, softer on the palate.

2009 vintage, Typical inexpensive, drinkable Pinot, although the one I just had was a bit hot on the alcohol. Possibly a shade better than Pepperwood Grove from Chile.

2009 vintage, This wine is skewed to the sweet, thin on the palate, and has an over cooked characteristic. Not drain pour though. Pepperwood Grove is better.

This dark colored wine has a good amount of body, is moderately dry, tannic, and has plenty of mellow oak. Alcohol nicely integrated. Some dark fruit flavors but muted. A good bang for the buck though.

Although a bit thin on the palate, pleasant, clean, bright flavors of cherry and Pinot Noir. This wine however is too sweet for me and will probably avoid it for that reason alone.
