Screaming QPR. Tastes like a $30 Cali meritage. Lots of smoke and cassis. The PV really gives this a dark element. I love PV so this rocks my world. The craftsmanship is superb. This is a burger wine folks and really demands a nice hunk of chuck.

cloves and cherry juice on the nose. gobs of extracted blackberry fruit and semi-sweet chocolate. this wine is bursting with flavor and silky smooth. do not hold on to this. the alcohol taste is present but is well contained. no decant necessary, it's drinking great right now and for $20 it's an absolute steal. I paired with hillshire farm smoked sausage with steamed broccoli and a baked potato and it fit like a michael jackson glove.

QPR in the hizzy. Oregon, CAlifornia and Burgundy Pinots of this caliber cost 2-3 times this wine. I am still decanting as I write this and it's opening up like a flower.

how do you not score a bottle of deliciousness the max possible? Raspberry and milk chocolate with a loooooong finish. not as syrupy as i expected which is a good thing. not too viscous, but just right.

This is a white wine for people who like red wine. it's thick and creamy. delicious. Great value.

I had the 2006 vintage. nose of warm french toast with baked raspberries and vodka. The palate is a mouthwatering, sensual cran-raspberry cocktail with awesome tart acidity. There is no much raspberry in this wine that I had to pick my teeth of the imaginary seeds.Since Barbera is a notorious pizza wine I had this with a Digiorno Ultimate Pizzeria pizza and it did not disappoint.

nose of fresh wild berry juice...sweet rasbperry jam on the palate. this wine is drinking incredible right now with gobs of mouth watering fruit flavors. do not save it! went really well with spinach pizza.

if you can find this for $16 then that's a great QPR. This wine is really good and gets better every half hour its open.
