luscious cigar box and spicy blackberry flavors. this can be put away for at least five years based on the tannin levels. went great with a burger.

a stranger in a strange land. this wants to be a napa chard with the initial oaky butter, but it's much more complex. Once the oak passes, citrus dominates. Grapefruit and breadfruit.

classic upfront zinfandel smoothness but then it just falls apart. disjointed with lots of alcohol heat and a sharp bitter acidity. I even get some V8 flavors. at $42 it drinks like an $8 zin. it may need some time in the cellar

light-bodied. almost pinot-like. actually it's very pinot-like. pinot plus cocoa. very versatile as it would go with most foods but is great by itself. strong flavors of eucalyptus with a hearty tannic backbone.

I wish all cali chardonnay was made like this. Small kiss of vanilla oak with a touch of light bubbles. Well balanced and lighter bodied than expected with surprising soft acidity. Great sipper. Not really a food wine, which is fine. Just a really pleasant experience.

tea leaf green and a bit young. bordeaux/chinon like in it's vegetali. I am now making up words because I have already used up all of my negative ones in past reviews and I'm trying to be original. smells better than it tastes although the steak I ate it with was terrific, i could barely taste this. may do well from aging but i will never know.

thin and tangy, very tannic. Standard dull cheapt cabernet. should cost $10 less than it does. the bottle art screams Trader Joe's.

strong strawberry overtones...highly alcoholic at a whopping 14.5%. this is made for falafel and hot sauce or shwarma.
