Added Mar 22, 2012 at 10:35pmQuite nice, lemony citrus with a nice minerality. I had this as an aperitif and then with a light soup -- goes best with a little food. Perhaps that's because of the 14.5% ABV.

I was feeling adventurous, so I ordered at a restaurant, but didn't quite work with either dish. Very slightly floral, some minerals and vegetal notes. Light buttery texture. Great on it's own - sommelier suggested trying with sushi.

Added Oct 3, 2009 at 9:56pmIt's not the type of wine to inspire a deep philosophical discussion or a lot of insightful notes about flavor or anything like that. It's just a nice sipping wine. It's tasty, it's not expensive and I enjoyed it while cooking dinner.

Added May 24, 2009 at 9:41amThis is my first wine from Macedonia! Deep purple hue with a surprisingly crisp, light bodied taste. Crisp red fruit, strawberry and cherry. First thought was like a Zinfandel, but lighter. Pairs well with lamb - our server said "That's because they only eat lamb in Macedonia"
