This wine needs decanting and drinking with food! I was neutral about the first glass, 2nd glass sensational. Enormous fruit and acidity but well balanced. Very long-lasting which might come from the 15% syrah. Retails for 11 in the UK but better than most chiantis at this price.

a great introduction to Austrian wines. Fresh, minerals, white peppers, acidity, long lasting. Ok as an apperitiff but due to acidity stunning with food (lobster, crab, maybe poached salmon). Retails about 8 in the UK. Much better than an 8 white burgundy.
