Could not ask for anything more from a wine while sitting outside in the sun eating cheese. There is some real complexity on the nose and palate, but the wine is light and balanced enough to drink easily. Paired beautifully with Comte and a local goatcheese.

Red fruit shake on the nose. This is really what I look for in a zinfandel. Not overly spiced, not sweet. Very clean taste.

Really delicious. A dead ringer for porterhouse doused in butter on the nose. Very drinkable and enjoyable. Not as inky and thick as PS can be. The bottle disappeared quite quickly.

This was my favorite of all the Duckhorn wines. This is a fun wine. I don't think it represents great value, but it sure is tasty.

A good wine. Not as polished as some Merlots, but there is a lot in the glass. I only had a taste and this wine deserves an evening. Very rich. The grapes come from all over Napa, so this is a great example of Napa Merlot.

Party wine. This is not complicated stuff, just a well put together blend. A real crowd pleaser. It's a bit expensive, but this is definitely a step above many red blends.

This wine is definitely on the heavier side of the Pinot spectrum. Dark (for Pinot) color. There's some good balance on the palate, but a touch too much oak for my tastes.

Beautiful light color. Lemon and lime on the nose but I also got some va which wasn't so pleasant. Nice and fruity with a touch of sweetness on the palate. There's a touch of banana, but this is a nice pleasing wine to drink outdoors.

Beautiful golden color. A bit subdued on the nose. Delicious and refreshing, though on the palate. This seemed a bit sweeter than what I expected, but there's a ton of acidity to balance it out. This bottle went really fast.

Very drinkable. Good tannins that give balance to the fruit. The finish is what holds this wine back as it's a little woody. Good value, though.
