October 2009
Nice ruby colour. Not an over powering wine but good black current fruit. Pleasant nose and the fruit is well balanced by the tannins. Lovely in the mouth and very moorish - good length. Slightly toasty. An easy drinking wine.

I like my Bordeaux wines to have a good age. This is nicely balanced, without being in decline. Very structured, nice nose, and very long in the mouth. Lovely dark colour and fills the mouth with fruit flavours but leaves the mouth clean and slightly puckered (pleasantly so). This is a minor wine which cost next to nothing and is easy drinking now. Good value.

This is the second bottle of this that I've drunk in the last 6 months and this one was rather flat and boring. Perfectly drinkable but nothing special. A bit of a disappointment but this may just be an odd bottle as the previous one was wonderful.

This wine is beautiful. Elegant and balanced and fully integrated. It needs to be drunk now. Vanilla and some mint on the nose. Very full of old claret tastes - cigar box, leather. Open just before drinking and enjoy.

Very enjoyable. Lots of unintegrated fruit. Dark and meaty but it will improve. Good length but the mouth is lacking something. Not really a wine to my taste although I can accept that it is a good wine.

Perfect! The balance is incredible. Lots of fruit but not at all cloying. Just the right amount of acidity and it stays in the mouth. I could have spent the evening drinking this wine ... it draws you in and is incredibly moorish. What a tempter and I've only got 5 bottles left.

A little past its best. Still very pleasant. Most of the fruit has gone and it is beginning to show signs of "brown" on the glass but still very dense ruby colour and full bodied. Lovely in the mouth but no length - all front of mouth. Classic aged Pomerol nose. This is my last bottle and I should have finished it a few years ago.

I found an over looked bottle and thought that it would be way beyond its best. It was absolutely fine. Full of fruit, nicely balanced and good length. Not much tannin left but very well integrated. Not at all over the top. For a minor wine it was excellent.

Drank a bottle 29/8/09 - still very young but already open. Beautiful nose - full of fruit, not much tannin (so will not improve vastly), coming together really nicely and quite early. Not a particularly complicated wine - very approachable. Drinking better from 2011.

A bit of a vegetal nose from the bottle but this quickly dissipated in the glass. Lots of fruit, nice balance but lacking length. I'm happy that I still have a few bottles. A nice easy drinking wine.
