Added Jul 14, 2012 at 12:55amThis wine is still a bit young, however, it displays bright fruit and green foliage on the nose. A LOT of acidity, this wine will pair well, with and cut through fatty meat. Bright cherry and raspberry fill your mouth with more subtle notes of vanilla and clove. More tannins on the back than most Burgundy reds.

Added Jul 13, 2012 at 3:40pmFragrant and floral on the nose, opens into slight notes of nectarine and peach, mainly from the Viognier, that add to its moderate body which finish out with a touch of acidity and minerality. The finish is quite weak for what you would expect from the bouquet and the front of the palate. A good value from a great wine maker.

Bex Riesling 2009
Added Jul 13, 2012 at 3:33pmDo you normally dislike rieslings like I do? Then this is one for you. Far from being overly sweet, this Mosel grown wine has fresh notes of peach and honey, a surprising hint of pear and mouth-watering acidity in the middle and a minimal amount of viscosity (stickiness) on the back end. Pairs well with spicy or asian food, or can be enjoyed on it's own as a summer white.

Added Jun 2, 2012 at 10:25pmOn first sight, the packaging is elegant and regal and the juice itself pink with an orangish tinge. Notes of strawberry, raspberry, spice and minerals. The flavors are powerful, light strawberry, orange and is a bit herbaceous. This is not overly sweet but does have a small amount of acidity that balances it out. The Cabernet does give this wine a nice backbone that you normally do not find in the usually light Roses of Southern France.

Added Jun 9, 2012 at 12:38amDark all around: color, nose, taste. This Rhone blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre has flavors of ripe dark fruit, with nice spice and heavy, yet elegant tannins. This wine is very nice with cherry being the dominant fruit. It would pair well with a fatty dish (duck) as this wine's acidity would balance it out very well. Let this wine open up.

Added Jun 5, 2012 at 3:04pmI'm not much of a Chardonnay drinker, however if I do I reach for one from Russian River. Sonoma-Cutrer is a prime example of one these brilliant Chardonnays that impresses year in and year out. On the nose you get green apple, which turns into flavors of pineapple, apple and a slight floral note as well that is balanced out with some crisp acidity. Because of malolactic fermentation and New French Oak barreling, this wine ends up being very balanced and fresh, with some complexity you don't typically find in Chardonnays. Great for summer.

Added Jun 4, 2012 at 11:11pmOne of my go-to Napa Cabs, especially because it is actually a Bordeaux style blend that is Cab dominant. It has a reddish-purple color that has aromas of heavy dark fruit along with hints of oak and spice. The palate is extremely complex with intense flavors of dark cherries, toffee, cocoa - these flavors are powerful yet very soft and refined tannins remain as finish your glass. Enjoy with a steak or ,hell, by itself.

Added Jun 2, 2012 at 10:08pmThe coloring is dark purple, that goes along with notes of vanilla, spicy oak and dark berries. A complex wine with flavors of concentrated dark fruit, cocoa and spice, yet slightly sweet and leathery. Although a heavy, full-bodied wine, it drinks as smooth as silk. I buy this wine by the case. Brilliant. P.S. The wine packaging is by far my favorite of all wines.
