Showed its age in a good way. Blackberry, leather, cured meats, mocha and herbs. Solid tannins and smoky spice, oak and cedar. Midnight yummy.

Never thought I'd have the word brilliant and Columbia Crest in the same sentence, but this isn't your CVS wine. Endlessly drinkable. Rich with viscous black fruit, smooth oak and smokey velvet. Balanced, intense. Let it breath for 30 minutes and you are good to go.

Very good Zinfandel at this price. Rich, deep deep fruit. Black currant, smooth with sweet ripe fruit and easy finish. Hint of oak and spiced vanilla bean pods.

Another underrated maker. Their single vineyard collection shines. Vibrant and filled with lemongrass nose. Minerality, wet poolside stone, white grapefruit. Sour tropical fruits and green bamboo with tons of acidity. Pair with ice cold shellfish and get yumming.

Put down over 2 years. Did very well with the extra aging. Not a butter bomb even though the look says different. Pure golden with smooth oak and vanilla. Balanced. Drinkable, just enough acid. Wish I got two.

Quite good. Smooth and light. Medium ripe berries with sweet spices. Superbly balanced. What you hope for in a Pinot. Great gift wine or bring to a party. Goes with everything.

Super grassy, with fresh cut apricot, white peach, nectarine. A deeper delve gives an unusual clean finish of lentils and raw harvest corn. Good price. Interesting enough to try at least once.
