Not bad for the price. It has a nice raspberry/raisin color; has a touch of age, refreshing, sharp tannins. More of a brisk wine than warm, but there is enough mustiness to make it interesting. Try to find it on sale and give it a try.

Better than the '05 and '06. Filled, aromatic, dark. Lots of black fruit and solid tannins. Nice.

Surprisingly smooth with notes of earth and deep colored berries. Nice Cabernet for the price point; a good weekday wine.

Showed its age in a good way. Blackberry, leather, cured meats, mocha and herbs. Solid tannins and smoky spice, oak and cedar. Midnight yummy.

Super concentrated. Defined vanilla and hint of oak on the nose with a distant rose petal. Decanting doesn't hurt it. Just enough tannin and lots of smooth black fruit. Very nice.

Shockingly good for an '07, '08, '09 blend. Garnet red, with notes of chocolate, licorice, sweet oak, hint of vanilla, tart raspberry and fennel. Medium to full bodied with lively acidity with pretty low tannins. Very smooth and darn drinkable with a longer finish than expected. Went well with port salut and truffle cheese. A cheap as heck obscure wine that would be a great case for a party if you can find it.

Never thought I'd have the word brilliant and Columbia Crest in the same sentence, but this isn't your CVS wine. Endlessly drinkable. Rich with viscous black fruit, smooth oak and smokey velvet. Balanced, intense. Let it breath for 30 minutes and you are good to go.

Just ok. High tannins. Uninteresting. Forgettable.
