Deep rich concentrated layers and nose of dark brambly berries, reminiscent of a super tuscan or bordeaux. Very nice bottle of wine. Well balanced and very tasty! Indeed a fantastic buy for the price at Trader Joes!

Interesting nose of berry sorbet and bubblegum. Cherry throughout. Delicate mouthfeel. Cherry driven, but an interesting green apple crisp acidity on the back end. Nicely balanced.

Cherry berry stew on the nose, with hints of vanilla and oak. Velvety and mouthfilling. Deep, concentrated and fairly complex. Long lasting tears so I assume reasonably high in alcohol.

Maybe because it was a 375ml it was too old, or it was kept too warm. Whatever the case, tart, raisiny and over. Renwood generally produces good zins, but be careful. The 750s might still be OK, but this wasn't a good bottle.

Smoky cab franc nose. Deep rich flavors of stewed plums and black and blueberries. Deep, rich and intense with a bit of Grandma's jam woven through. Very nice and for the price, a good everyday wine to try something different than the usual.
