Wow! I am not a big fan of white wines. This is about to change. Bright citrus aromas, fruit, tart minerality, and then....bam! a dry finish. Bonus!! Love this wine.

Just a great trocken spatlese to enjoy with a little Indian or Thai food. Great on it's own as well. Has enjoyable notes of lime zest, pear, and a chalky minerality. Nice balance of acid and sugar makes this very easy drinking. Good stuff.

What a pleasant surprise! Deep purple in the glass, bright cherry, rich blackberry, cocoa and tobacco on the nose. The fruit translates similarly to the palate with smooth tannins. Easy drinking at great price point.

Nice Cotes de Francs region bordeaux that goes well with food. In fact I don't recommend it without at least something to balance the wine's tannins. Even after open an hour, drinking this wine by itself caused the tannins to overpower my palate. A little bit of cheese and all was good again. Deep rich garnet in the glass, going to pink on the rim. Ripe cherry, plum, blueberries with some earth, wet leaves and cinnamon on the nose. Rich ripe dark fruit on the palate. Big tannins cover the palate and beg for food. Long finish, medium acid.

What else can I say about this Super-Tuscan other than it's my favorite of its style at this price. The fruit, the extracted tannins, the way it evolves as you drink it - even though I've decanted it for 45minutes already! - this wine rocks! Open a bottle, let it sit for an hour, then let it knock your socks off... nuff said.

Loved this wine. It kept evolving in my glass the longer I drank it. Great effusive fruit. Long structured tannins. Can't be beat for the price. Unfortunately, the vineyard has been sold, so this may be the 1st and last edition of this great wine.

Nice deep purple color. Heady aromas of ripe plum, black cherry & licorice spice. Great black cherry fruit and earth on the palate, with a touch of spicy black pepper. Ripe fruit notes and tannins linger pleasantly.

Nice inviting dark ruby color, with medium legs. Nose has cherry, tobacco, pencil shavings, and hint of red carnation; slight earthiness. Ripe cherry and blue fruit on the palate. Nice balance of mid palate tannins and acid. Long pleasant finish with a slight tart-cherry note. Great value and really easy-drinking once decanted for 1/2 hour or more. I like.

Big fruit with big tannins. The nose gives off dark ripe plum, large blueberries, black cherry, cocoa and earth. The flavors follow suit; the full tannins lingering on the palate giving a full bodied enjoyably long finish. This wine drinks well now. I really enjoy it. The fruit and tannin are balanced enough to not need food, but this is also a good food wine. This wine is a 'one-off', similar to the Justin "Orphan", where they use leftover grapes from different bottlings. However, with this wine, this is the last bottling. There is no production after the 2005 vintage. Get it while you can....
