Had a fantastic goat cheese with this. Really liked the citrus hints on the nose and palate...lemons and a slight bit of lime? I may have to get another bottle because this went far too quickly!

Enjoyed this with pizza. Lots of spice and cherry on the nose. Based on other tasting notes, I think it's Syrah-like qualities appealed to me. Nice blackberry, licorice and spice on the mouth with nice acidity. Not a bad QPR, at least for me.

Twisted Oak Grenache 2005
Significantly better than the bottle I had a few months ago. Or maybe my taste buds have changed. Lots of fruit, mostly strawberry. Paired this with some dark chocolate that was decadent.
