September 2007
Excellent Chardonnay I tasted at Taster's Guild 2002 Burgundy Dinner on 09/18/07 at PS7's in Washington, D.C. went great with the Hors d'Oevres of Gratin of Little Neck Clams, Smoked Corn and Watermelon and Duck Prosciutto and Cherries!

This is an excellent starter Chardonnay from California which always shows wonderful ripe apple fruit and pear and a nice touch of toasty oak, but not too much creaminess

This is a great Aperitif Champagne - not too rich and yeasty, but elegant, crisp and citrusy, wonderful with fried foods!

This wine showed pretty poorly at a recent tasting - the fruit and tannin could barely stand up to the alcohol and that was listed as only 12.5 %. Fun wine if you're in the Greek Islands, but so much better out there for the price.

Fidelitas M100 2004
Although not a blockbuster, it has so many things right - the balance of oak, tannin and fruit (the merlot really shows well from Washington State) that this wine will improve with a few years in the cellar.

The Queen of Wines, this Barberesco is on the lighter side, but should age gracefully. Not so expensive to age forever, enjoy this wine with a delicious Sunday meal.

La Sera Red Malvasia 2006
Slightly sweet, zesty red wine is a specialty of Piedmont region. Fun wine, enjoy with friends and some cheese, don't take life too seriously!

Brooding rich but with the unusually complex structure of a traditional Brunello, this wine has silky tannins and balsamic roasted fruit, give it 5 years until perfection!

Unusually rich white wine that has true wait on the palate - the importer suggest this wine with the foods of his hometown area (Torino) such as salami, cheeses, roasted vegetables and this wine
