Added Jan 14, 2011 at 9:50pmThis wine really benefits from more time in the glass. Each sip gets more satisfying. Plenty of dark fruit (black cherry, blackberry) and spice. Really, really nice mouthfeel - lush. The tannins ever so slowly evolve across you mouth without being overly drying. Certainly more fruit forward then a Burgundy, but hard to deny the appeal.

Added Jul 30, 2010 at 9:21amWelcome to the dark side. This wine is as flavorful as it is dark, with layers of berry, cassis, spice, and a slight dark cocoa finish. Did I mention it was dark? Like a thunderstorm - plenty to appreciate.
