Don't get me started, oh GOD, I'm away, GODello, GODelloess of my life, your soft and firm and waxy, are you real or only the wax statue of the Spanish woman of my dreams. Who is this Telmo Rodriguez, is she man or woman? either way I want to run my forefinger down her waxy cheek - take the white flowers she clutches to her breast, pluck the petals and let them fall across her soft curves - I want to walk in her citrus grove, pluck melons from the vine, but most of all I want to feel her texture, warm and generous, and waxy. 45/45 Drink now, again, and again, and again.

Beyond the label, sexy and intriguing, under the cork, firm and tight yet yielding, lies this charming wine , that if you give it a couple of mnutes of deep thought will seduce you, take you home and rob you. It has ripe and fragrant fruits and a dark spicy undercurrent, a nose of tar and roses. The palate is supple but structured. I now find myself on a cold footpath, I think it is Thursday morning, I'm holding my undone pants up with my right hand, my shirt is untucked, a cold footpath on a street I'm not familiar with holds my feet from the fire of the Earth's mantle, and in my left hand I'm holding the my only clue. A fresh young cork, one end stained the grape colour of a bubbleugum wrapper. If I still had my wallet I'd go and find another bottle and see if I couldn't remember her name this time. 43/43. Cellar for as long as it takes to drink it.

This is a cracking bottle - I've worked there, and can personally testify to the quality of this domaine, their vineyards and their wines. The vines are worked in a very sympathetic manner, the wines made gently. No price is too much for a wine with this much spirit and expression. 7/5

Chiroubles at it's best produces textural, feminine and sensual wines, but can often turn out thin, green numbers, hard with stalky tannins. Domaine Bulliat renders the terroir in it's most classic and appealing manner. Gently aromatic, with a mouthfeel that gives you goosebumps. It's a wine of the heart, it speaks the language of love - in short, this wine is of it's earth. 5/5
