Added Sep 23, 2012 at 5:30pmMeh - I've had better. Rather blah, nondescript aroma. A bit dry. That's about it.

Added Apr 2, 2012 at 4:58pmNot for me. Chard is just not a pleasant taste; no matter how many times I try, no matter who makes it. Don't know why so many folks buy it (they probably don't know what else to choose). This one touts flavors of almond & pear. Really? All I can smell is vinegar and tastes of dry-mouth oak barrel. Sorry - cracker please.
Added Oct 6, 2012 at 12:43pmVery smoky. Heavy red. Not one I can just sip. We finished the bottle by poaching salmon with it. That's about it.

Added Feb 23, 2012 at 1:56pmVery nice Zin. Comes close to 14 Hands Cabernet. Soft oak finish; currant & blackberry notes. Michael & David Lodi winery on hwy 12 (used to be Phillips Farms). We enjoyed a few glasses with Bruscetta while sitting outside the Cellar Door on historic School Street. A little pricey at $25.00 a bottle, but good.

Added Feb 23, 2012 at 1:43pmVery yummy white dessert wine, slight sparkle. Found at visitor center in Lodi CA. Easy sipping, light pear bouquet, clean finish. We enjoyed a bottle with Lemon cake dessert. Pairs nicely with fruit & cheese snaks also. We finished a 1/2 case in no time.

Peirano Chardonnay 2011
Added Oct 9, 2012 at 7:22pmKak. I just have a hard time even smelling Chards - this one is a typical dry Chardonnay. I would need to add 7up & oranges. That's about it.

Added Nov 9, 2012 at 1:52pmOh Kak. The description says honey & peaches... really? I don't taste anything like that. The aroma is mildew. Not for me ... cracker please.

Added Feb 23, 2012 at 12:50pmWe have been enjoying 14 Hands wines for several years now and the Merlot (any year) is devine! Smooth finish, low tannin, no nasty oak taste. This coming from one who only drank sweet whites. Not sold in most stores, but available at CostPlus World Market. We buy cases directly from Washington.

Added May 17, 2013 at 5:02pmOh ya! This is a delightful moscat wine. Very light, easy to down a bottle in no time. Pairs really well with mild cheese like havarti & monterey jack with some red grapes. Definite cellar stock.
Added Jul 19, 2013 at 3:02pmOh ya! and OMG. I haven't tasted a great frost wine like this in years since Santino closed their door. I picked this up out of a bargin basket while visiting Salem. The price tricked me, thought it was a risk. I should've taken the whole basketful. Like drinking liquid grape jelly. Fabulous mouthfeel. It says tangerine & orange, but I taste sweet grapes & lycee. I don't even want to swallow it is so good. Don't hesitate if you like Late Harvest, get this Frosset!
