A bit of a sharpness to this one. An almost smoky aroma. Flavors of blackberry, and more blackberry.

A little on the sweet side. Flavors of honey and greenery. Dash of apricot. Quite a drinkable little wine.

Smells like alcohol and paraffin. Flavors of lemon and pear, with all the over the top acidity you might expect from such a pairing. Possibly something of a specialty taste, but a very interesting and unique wine.

Slightly grassy, very citric, with perhaps a dash of pear. Wonderfully bright and youthful wine. Quite enjoyable.

Six years out from "the vintage of the sun" this remains a tasty and distinctly un-Beaujolais Beaujolais. Oddly dry and complex, if you can find some, give it another try.

Light and citric. Very low acidity. A tasty little table wine.

An unexpectedly soft and cool wine, considering the grape's reputation for acidity. Ever so slightly dusty. A pronounced clove flavor is slightly offputting here, but the fruitiness of the wine does quite a bit to make up for it.

A solid Cab. A little unassuming, and with no one flavor overwhelming. Not a stand out wine at all, but pleasantly drinkable and balanced.
