Appearance: Long legs, thick dark red.Smell: Strong earthy smell.Taste: Real pucker on this one. Thick taste, strong oak flavour. Quite complex, long aftertaste.Overall: Quite a strong oaky wine, a little more than I'm used to. Excellent overall wine, and a great experience. I had it with prime rib, which went excellent with this wine.

appearance: lighter than I expected, but very clearsmell: had the sweet smell, but a little earthy as well.taste: incredibly smooth and well blended flavours. slightly on the mellow side of things.overall: I loved this wine, and will be sure to have it again. We had it with fruit, cheese, and crackers that may have overpowered the wine a little bit. However, it was a great bottle, and I will be sure to try one again soon.

I had heard poor reviews on this wine, but was pleasantly surprised. Appearance: nice, dark, clear red.Smell: nice rich smell.Taste: velvety taste, makes your mouth water a bit.Overall: Was very smooth. An excellent pinot noir! I will definitely try it again.

Found this one quite different from other Pinotages in the same region. This one had a much stronger oak flavour to it.

Excellent wine. Surprisingly different taste in the 2004 Reserve Merlot than the regular 2004 Merlot. Much more body to it.
