I definitely would give this Dutton-Goldfield 2007 Pinot Noir the Gold! A fantastic very long and flavorful Pinot. Wonderful aromas of cherry, a very subtle hint of flower giving way to a nice spice enticing you to taste. The cherry flavors are wonderfully big and juicy and the spice also comes through as an excellent compliment to the fresh, deep, long-lasting cherry. A gorgeous ruby red color and an excellent wine. I'll be getting more of this one!

A very nice Pinot with nice cherry and strawberry on the nose. The palate seems to have layers of red fruit but the strawberry and raspberry are oh so slight with the cherry being most dominant with intermixed spice/cinnamon detection. Drank at an outdoor dinner in which the outside air turned cooler and the wine enhanced as it cooled also. Very nice and glad I have another to enjoy!

60% Syrah, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. I really liked this wine, actually liked many of the Doce Robles (Twelve Oaks) wines. This one had a great full deep ruby/garnet color, dark berry aroma with some mint. For the palate I got a lot of cherry (dark cherry), some pepper, real nice tannins, and nice oak finish. $20, purchased at the winery in Paso Robles. Jim Jacobsen is the owner and winemaker, he and everyone at the winery were really nice, good people!

Absolutely loved this Chateauneuf du Pape! The color was a fantastic deep purple. The bouquet was neverending, powerful raspberry with a hint of spicey oak. The palate was an immediate mouthful of raspberry baked turnover with inner mixed dark fruit. Nice lingering finsh. Medium to full bodied. Wonderful, wonderful wine!

A very nice Bordeaux blend of Cab Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Cab Sauvignon with aromas of plum, some raspberry and a hint of licorice with the same coming though on the palate. A nice smooth, drinkable wine. I've been to the winery and they are very nice with many good wines.

I was really disappointed by this wine as I was expecting big fruit aromas and rich red fruits based on where I bought this wine, but I got none of that. The wine seemed very, very closed even after being opened for an hour or so, decanted, and left alone for hours more. The next day was the same, no change. It still drank/flowed well and did have a great deep garnet red color. Was hoping for far better of this wine.

I was researching some Chateauneufs and came across this wine which is 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, a combination I like. This Altitude 420 had great color, nice raspberry and cherry fruit on the nose, and a real nice, drinkable, palate of subtle dark berry and enhanced red berry fruit. Medium bodied. A great value and looking forward to more and trying the "Reference".
