Intense, ripe baked fruit. Lots of spice upfront and incredible concentration. Long spicy finish. Good integrated tannins. A big wine.

A great complex nose of minerals, wet wool and barnyard. Nice gentle, mellowed tannins in the mouth. This is a fantastic wine. I usually don't go for 'barnyard', but here its been done so well and is so well integrated. Very impressive - a refined wine. Serve with roasted meats. Long smooth, warming finish.

Mineral and slightly earthy nose. Great crisp mouthfeel - no oak - very mineral and complex. Very nice with seafood. Nice long finish.

Slightly alcoholic nose, good floral delicacy - can taste the cab franc in there. Low tannins. Good finish on smooth tannins.

Very dry, tannic finish. A big wine, packed with concentrated red fruits. Still too tannic, the finish is harsh. Give it two years.

14% merlot added. A very rich wine, packed with fruits (red berries). Good oak - give it a year.

Rich, oaky nose. Spicy and fruity. Tobacco and cedar with a long oaky finish. Fantastic!

Slightly alcoholic nose (16%) balanced by fruit. Fleshy syrah nose. Packed with sweet red fruit. Good finish with well integrated tannins.
