    Philip's Review:

Soft and rounded nose. In the mouth the wine is relatively crisp and offers luscious fruits although slightly green.

    Philip's Review:

Very nice wine. Rich and fruity with chocolate and spice flavors. Its a really fruity wine and that dominates the profile, hiding the tannins and structure. There are some more noticeable tannins on the finish, but the sweet fruit dominates.

    Philip's Review:

Earthy with a cool bramble and fig flavor. In the mid palate the wine offers plums but is tempered by an animal character (fleshiness).

White pepper and a lot of spice upfront. This wine offers sharp acidity and a very lean finish. Its tart with dry tannins. Medium fruit and good structure. Very nice and well priced.

  • Philip's Review:

Very rich and fruity with a plummy, cassis nose with a hint of eucalyptus. In the mouth there's a lot of round, rich sweet fruits and flavors of coffee and cedar lend structure to the wine.

  • Philip's Review:

Very buttery and nutty. The nose on this wine is unique - cashew nuts and peanut brittle mingle with bruised over ripe papaya and mango. In the mouth the wine is very emollient with a very silky mouth filling feel. Lots of oak in the wine, giving it a great golden color, some sugar and a butteriness. The wine has undergone malolactic fermentation and the remaining acids, which are quite firm and strong, are now more supple and milky. I liked it, but it was a little too fruity, oaky and sweet for some.

  • Philip's Review:

Thick and plummy with firm tannins. Nice blueberry highlights. Blackberry. Woodsy, truffle nose with some mushroom character. Very nice.

  • Philip's Review:

Light nose of pine needles. Very thick, intense deep wine of mocha, caramel, cinammon and bruised dark fruit: plums, raisins and dates. Nice drying cedar finish, with an underlying vanilla flavor.

  • Philip's Review:

Light blackberry flavors mix well with a light minty characteristic. Chocolate and bramble flavors on the mid palate. Nice earthy finish, moving into licorice flavors.

Korbel makes 1.3M cases, but practices sustainable farming and even has a new line of Organic products. This wine has great bubbles and a softly sweet buscuit flavor. A very soft and smooth finish with a nice rich mid-palate.
